Chef Gregorio Fierro, in his 25 years of industry experience, has successfully integrated diverse aspects of the food world. As a chef, chef instructor, writer, consultant, and television producer, his work has influenced the culinary industry on multiple levels. As a dual national Italian-American, Chef Fierro has often been employed as linguistic and cultural “bridge” between Italy and the United States and has worked and studied in both countries. His projects have appeared on PBS and other national media outlets, his industry focused treatises have educated and informed people on various levels of the food industry and his input as an instructor and consultant is valued from coast to coast. His food philosophy puts an emphasis on simplicity with a heavy emphasis on the quality of the base ingredients. Chef Fierro currently works as a technical advisor and Chef Ambassador for several influential companies and is a respected authority on the culinary world in general with a personal focus on the foods of the Mediterranean basin. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife and two daughters.
